So what it is "Double Watching" or more commonly known as "Double Wristing"? Simply put this is the act of wearing two watches. There you go end of article. However why would one want to wear two watches?

Double watching is wearing of two watches this can be either two watches on one arm under and over or one watch on each arm etc. sure but why?

One of the main reasons is to track time in two different time zones. This comes from military uses when various generals would need this organising strategies over large areas and continents.

More and more people are now wearing a smart watch as well as a mechanical watch. This is what I do. I love wearing my mechanical as a time piece or fashion piece.  However I also appreciate technology so while I am at work I have started to wear a smart watch on my other wrist to track steps, and get my notifications ie; events reminders, text, phone calls, steps and as well my health etc.

I work in a very noisy workshop I can not hear my phone, nor can I feel it vibrate in my overalls. Hence the smart watch where I can feel the vibration on my wrist and don't miss any calls from my boss when he is out with a client. I only really wear two watches while I am at work.
